If you and your small organisation are determined to support your cause, but are unsure where to start with digital fundraising, I can provide a gentle approach, flexibility with timescales and plans, and entry level training to manage the systems and processes set up during my time with you.
Having worked with registered charities in England and Scotland, not-for-profit companies, charity projects, CIC, and social enterprises, I have intimate knowledge of how the type of your organisation affects how you can fundraise and how to make the most of the options available to you.
Let’s sit down with a brew and have a look at what you already have in place that could support digital and public fundraising. These are some of the things we’ll talk about:
Stage two – What do you need?
Depending on what kind of organisation you are, what you want to achieve, and what you already have in place, we can plan to achieve some of the following:
Stage three – How do we get what you need?
Here we can hash out how we will collaborate to achieve the goals set out in the previous stage. We’ll put together a flexible step-by-step plan, agree timescales, and talk about how we’ll keep in touch and what is expected from each of us. I understand every person has a different level of understanding of public fundraising, and I can work to that too. For the fundraising experts, I can be a seen-and-not-heard systems procurer and implementor, and for the new-to-fundraising, I can attend organisation meetings and give as much input as you’d like. We can include these parameters in our plan.
Actioning our plan will happen in a collaborative way, if at any point you feel something in our plan needs to change, we can have a conversation about it and make informed changes we’re both comfortable with. We’ll keep in touch for regular updates and exchanges of information and resources. You’ll never be left wondering what I’m doing.
There are some things that will need to be done by Trustees, Directors, Authorised Representatives, or other official organisation staff, but I can guide you to do these in an efficient and painless way.
I don’t say “Goodbye”, I say “See you later”
After our plan has been completed and we’ve achieved your goals, you won’t be left wondering what to do. I can provide handover training and written guidance for all systems, sites, platforms, and processes I put in place, and my email inbox is always open to organisations I’ve worked with, for queries relating to the work I’ve done and ad hoc questions and minor troubleshooting about public fundraising.
While larger consultants may offer the world, I can offer the future.
